help for the wrong context)

extensively and easily customise Launch

using [Pg Up] and [Pg Dn]. Automatic

Hot keys are not user-definable, so User-defined hot keys. Hot keys are
duplication can easily occur. Hot only lit for the current menu. Distinct
keys in inactive windows remain lit upper/lower case hot keys
User must periodically purge data Automatic purging
files of deleted information
Revolting screen display with Very clean and crisp presentation
pathetic and buggy facilities to
change it
Pretends to allow multiple commands Allows all normal DOS commands, includes
per option but only creates limited support for COMMAND.COM extensions such
(small) batch files containing as 4DOS. Also allows prompts to be
those commands, and then calls the defined to get information from the
batch file. So the menu directory user
becomes filled with little batch
files
Security - allows password on menu Security - authority levels (passive)
items. Passwords can be easily and passwords (active). Passwords are
viewed using Xtree! encrypted
User-defined shortcuts - keypresses
such as Alt-X which will execute an
application regardless of whether it is
currently visible or not
Items can only be moved within the Options and menus may be copied, and
same menu moved to other parts of the menu, or
to other structures
Linked structures- a way of dynamically
linking menu structures that have
common menus such as a utility menu
Works on all video cards, and supports
exotic screen modes (80x43, 80x50,
132x25, 132x43, 80x12 etc) which can be
used to allow more items to be shown
per menu
Import and Export - convert Launch data
files to/from ASCII text file format.
Allows major changes to be performed
using a text editor, or easy conversion
to later versions
Group menus, usage tracking, Usage tracking (not project). Usage
project tracking tracking is only really useful on
networks, and on networks usage tracking
is provided by the netork software
anyway. Group menus can be implemented
via authority levels

Differences Between Shareware and Registered Versions
-----------------------------------------------------
The Registered version naturally has no reminder messages or delays in it.
In addition, it comes with a number of useful utility programs, a bound
manual and free bug fixes (for reproducible errors).
Free technical support is also available to registered users, subject to my
own time and resource limitations. Call or fax Australia (03) 720 8558
( (03) 9720 8558 after May 1995 ).
